Objetivo del proyecto
Desarrollar una guía informativa y de identificación de animales marinos: “Fauna Marina Amenazada y Protegida del sur de Chile”, combinando la educación, las ciencias, artes y cultura, con el fin de enseñarle a la comunidad la diversidad de animales que viven en nuestras costas y aquellas que tienen problemas de conservación y/o están protegidas por acuerdos internacionales suscritos por Chile o leyes nacionales, incentivando así su cuidado y conservación.
¿Qué impacto se espera que tenga el proyecto?
Mediante el desarrollo de un material educativo multidisciplinario, esperamos contribuir hacia la educación marina y cultura oceánica, así como también favorecer la divulgación y difusión acerca de la importancia de la biodiversidad y conservación.
¿De qué manera ha apoyado RELATO al proyecto?
RELATO nos ha apoyado mediante un compromiso de colaboración en la difusión y divulgación del proyecto, ayudándonos a adjudicar el proyecto y ahora en la difusión y divulgación del producto generado.

Ha sido un apoyo fundamental.
¿Hay algo que te gustaría que contáramos o destacáramos del proyecto?
Como resultado del proyecto se ha generado la primera guía de fauna marina amenazada de Chile.

Introduction
Martina de Mar (Martina Núñez) and Profe Santi (Santiago Rocha) are two children
empowered 10 and 8 year olds, members of the Uruguay Roots & Shoots group
“In the footsteps of the deer” who have led the investigation “In the footsteps
dela Musola Listada ”, to publicize and thus get to protect the Musola
Striped (Mustelus Fasciatus) an endemic shark to the region that is
listed as critically endangered by the IUCN.
With the guidance and guidance of Mtra. Ma. Alicia Martínez, the collaboration of her
parents, and motivated by the work carried out virtually with Fundación
Mundo Azul from Guatemala, conducted an investigation with members of the
fishing communities and marine biologists working on the shores of del
Rocha department, Uruguay.
Under the motto of In the footsteps of the deer, “To know to love … To love to
protect and conserve ”have decided to take their message around the world to
change the negative image of sharks and generate interest in the ocean, its
importance and conservation, that is why they conduct talks virtually and
face-to-face in an interactive, dynamic, creative way, for audiences of all
ages, and create dissemination material for YouTube social networks

Introduction
We are the Sentinels of the Ocean! A group of boys, girls and young people from the Juan Fernández Archipelago, and since the summer of 2017 we have focused on learning about our maritime and the ocean in general, in order to make the best decisions when caring for it. We also seek to educate our community about how important it is to keep the marine ecosystem healthy, through good practices and more environmentally friendly customs.
We are a diverse group, each one has their personal interests, such as drawing, reading, learning more about the terrestrial ecosystem and its plants, among many other activities that not only enrich us as a person, but, like ecosystems, strengthens us as a team.
We want to call on everyone, mainly boys, girls and young people to take the initiative, and take charge of our future, taking care of the planet and its biodiversity.

Objetivo del proyecto
Buscar equipos de jóvenes que tengan entre 18 y 29 años, que vivan en América Latina y el Caribe y tengan ideas que den respuesta a los desafíos que presentan los Océanos y el Ambiente.
¿Qué impacto se espera que tenga el proyecto?
Generar oportunidades para jóvenes que buscan desarrollar sus propuestas que dan respuestas a problemáticas ambientales y de los océanos con el fin de impulsar sus proyectos.
¿De qué manera ha apoyado RELATO al proyecto?
Nos apoyaron en la difusión. extendiendo el alcance de la convocatoria para que más jóvenes puedan ser parte.
¿Qué tan relevante ha sido ese apoyo?
Muy importante, ya que conectó con jóvenes especialmente interesados en resolver problemáticas de los océanos.

Introduction
My name is Gabriela Casuso Hernández, I am a high school student, I have always liked the environment but since I was 8 years old I wanted to learn about sharks and the species of the oceans but at that time I could not find anyone who would give courses on these topics for children of my age. That’s why at the age of 10 I started the Aquatic Project, an initiative that seeks to increase everyone’s awareness and commitment to protect life in water and on planet earth.
We have the main activity through our website www.proyectoacuatica.com.co, our channel on YouTube and on social networks. For two years we have had an environmental column on radio on Caracol Radio and on the Voz Infantil and UPA Radio programs on Radio Ya. Our main actions are: to spread, educate, investigate and protect.
We make content for social networks, especially videos and Live for Youtube and publications for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. We have a space on IGTV Live on instagram called Live Guardians to meet those who have dedicated themselves to taking care of life in water, the oceans and all their ecosystems. We do Mission Kraken, for YouTube and Facebook, combining extraordinary and mythological stories of water with the knowledge of specialists to contribute to the Decade of the Oceans.
We have aquatic guardians and international volunteers who are spokespersons for our messages on education and protection of aquatic ecosystems. Our dream is that in every home, every school, in every organization, children, youth, adults, grandparents, everyone, we learn that the ocean is life.
